Something Lovely for the Weekend

Remember this nest?
The eggs have hatched, and we have a little Cardinal family outside our porch window.  A hungry Cardinal family.
Luckily, Daddy Cardinal arrived with dinner:


Once the feeding was done, Daddy Bird took off.  It was up to Momma to bring dessert.
She is totally giving me the eye.
The evil eye.

Daddy may be pretty, but Momma is fierce.
As it should be.
